Mineral Point— Greg Brown will be performing at the Mineral Point Opera House on October 15th with local artists Point Five for a fundraiser benefiting the Driftless Area Land Conservancy.

American Songwriter magazine declare Greg Brown America’s greatest living troubadour, a fitting title for this Driftless Area musician who has gone from his boyhood home in rural Iowa to destinations worldwide to perform songs of truth, heartbreak, and wonder.

Brown was raised in a family that made words and music a way of life. His seasoned songwriting, unpretentious musical vision and storytelling are deeply rooted in the Driftless Area. He moves audiences with warmth, humor, and a thundering voice.
