I join the Driftless Team as the first student member of the board of directors. I’m a Reclamation, Environment and Conservation major at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
During college, I have been involved in leadership roles within the Reclamation Club, Collegiate Soils Team, Agriculture Council, Environmental Sustainability Committee and have served as an ambassador for the School of Agriculture. I conduct undergraduate research in soils and dendrochronology and have recently worked for The Prairie Enthusiasts and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. This summer I will be pursuing an internship in soil conservation with the Natural Resource Conservation Service.
My passion for serving in the environmental field originates from my experiences traveling throughout the country and growing up along the scenic bluffs of the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers. I aim to make an impact in the field of conservation with land acquisition and management. I hope to protect the legacy of the Driftless Area and to inspire lifelong stewardship in future generations.
