SUMMARY:Driftless Trail Workday
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, April 11th from 9:00 am–4:00 pm (we may wrap up earlier) for a Driftless Trail workday as we prepare the Welsh Hills segment for its grand opening! \nVolunteers will help with touch-ups along the full trail corridor to ensure it’s ready to welcome hikers. Projects will include leaf-blowing the “Resort Bypass” stretch so visitors can clearly see and safely navigate around any tripping hazards like small stumps\, along with general cleanup and finishing details throughout the trail. \nThe trail features moderate terrain\, including some hills and uneven ground\, so come prepared for a good hike while you work. No prior trail experience is necessary… we’ll provide guidance\, tools\, and everything you need to feel comfortable and confident on the land. \nThis is a great opportunity to spend time on the land and experience the newly completed 2.6-mile loop before it officially opens. The ridge section of the Welsh Hills Trail—now part of the regional Driftless Trail—offers stunning views of the Wisconsin River\, the Wyoming and Lowery Creek valleys\, Taliesin estate\, and the restored Welsh Hills landscape. \nPlease register in advance to confirm your attendance so we can plan tools\, supplies\, and support accordingly. \nWe hope you’ll join us to help get this special stretch of the Driftless Trail ready to welcome the community!\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Confirm Your Attendance
