Join us for a full day, hands on Trailbuilding Workshop with Willie Bittner, of Great Lakes Trailbuilders, and spend the day learning the craft behind the Driftless Trail.

This workshop is designed as a true learning experience. The morning will focus on field based instruction at the south end of Taliesin’s Welsh Hills. Field work will focus on turning a roughed-in segment of trail into a sustainable, well-constructed trail using a variety of hand tools.

If you have been curious about trail work but have not jumped in yet, this is a great place to start. It is a supportive, low stakes environment to dip your toe into trail building ahead of the summer season.

By the end of the day, you will not just understand how trails are built. You will have helped shape one.

Whether you are brand new to trail work or looking to deepen your skills, this is a meaningful way to connect with the land and contribute to something lasting in the Driftless Area.
