Join DALC board member Gene Schriefer at Rolling Hills Stock Farm from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for an evening field day hosted by the Sauk County Land Conservation Department. Learn how native warm-season grasses have become an important part of Gene’s grazing management system and explore the benefits these forages can bring to working lands.

Participants will have the opportunity to compare the establishment and management of native warm-season pastures with more common introduced cool-season grass pastures, while gaining practical insights into grazing systems, pasture diversity, and agricultural resilience.
